Shining Star

It's so sad thinking that it's almost been a month since school got out. ): That means I've only got about two more months to knit! xP But I've got two finished projects and one of them needs better pictures that I'll get around to eventually. :3

This is, uhm, *checks Rav* the Slouched Tuva Hat. But I didn't want it to be slouchy because slouchy hats always feel like they're going to fall off so I made sure it was nice and snug and warm and cute and amazing. (: This is the project that lacks a good picture. I'll be sure to post some once I get them though!

And this project is the star washcloth thing. x3 Love it and plan on doing it again with better looking yarn.

This post has taken much too long but I wanted to get an update in while I felt the will, but I need to get back to my knitting so that I can finish this dreaded scarf. My mom's been bugging me about it, hopefully it'll be done by tomorrow. Until next time!

Purple Feet

Oh yes! Another post. (: I'll have to start making this a habit. But I finished the socks a couple of days ago, blocked them, and have been wearing the around the house, especially with all of this bad weather the past two days. They kept me calm. But more on that later.

The pattern is by Melinda Goodfellow. My grandmother gave the pattern to me. This is the uhm, third pair I think I've made? It's very easy and I like doing it. The yarn is Knit Picks Essentials and it took less than one ball to make them.

I adore the color of these.

But more on the weather. It down poured for a good few hours yesterday and we had some major flooding along with quite a few tornado warnings throughout the day.

And we're pretty sure it was worse out there before we looked outside and saw this because there's a ton of crap washed out onto the street now. I've lived here for 14 years now and have never ever seen it get like this.

A car or two got stalled out there and some of our neighbors had to help them get pushed back out. Needless to say everyone was soaked and everyone was outside looking. While the storm was still kinda bad might I add. And some smart little kids decided to go for a swim. Well, they weren't that little, or smart. ;)

But within an hour the water was gone surprisingly. But that's all I've got for now. <3

Finally!

I know I know, it's been forever and a half since I last posted but here I am now and that's all that matters right? (:

I've decided to only post when I finish a project and since it was the end of school I hadn't gotten much knitting done. Sad, I know. ): But it's only four days into summer vacation and I've finished a scarf and a sock. Pretty awesome huh?

So without further ado:

Baktus Scarf
350 yds of
Koigu Painter's Palette Premium Merino (KPPPM)
US #4 needles

As you can see it desperately needs blocking to make all my stitches even.

It turned out to be tons longer than I thought and I can not wait until winter to show it off.

I promise another update is coming soon, I should zoom straight through this second sock in no time.

Oops.

So it's been over a month. x.x I'm sorry. I haven't been knitting much lately. I'll be sure to post some pictures later in the week. I promise! My flickr is telling me that I suck and I need more room for my pictures or else I won't be able to view them and that's bad so I need to find another picture uploader thing or maybe just upload things from my computer. x.x I hate technology.

Keep an eye out for pictures! They're coming I swear.

Fun Fun.

So it's been a while. I've finished that Bolero and a hat, I've started another pair of Knucks, and I'm still working on a pair of socks because I'm such a slacker.
Wow, of course I pick the blurry picture. I've got better ones, I'm just being lazy. Maybe I'll wear it today? (: It's quite nice out and could use some good showing off.
Man, I wish this matched. I love this hat. And I don't have pictures of the socks and I've only gotten about two fingers done of the Knucks so I'll have to get back to you guys on that one.

Happy crafting!

Well yeah. My text won't effing work. Bleck. Okay, so. I've been knittin
g like crazy this weekend, and I've finished the Razor Cami, which ended up being too small in many ways. I've still got the straps to do although, and I'll probably be blocking tomorrow.

I love the color still. I've got plenty of this yarn left so I'm sure I'll do another that actually fits me. And I've also been working on a shrug. It's almost done, hopefully it will be done by tonight.

Tomorrow has been declared a blocking day. I'll be doing everything that needs to be blocked that hasn't been yet, and that needs it. So yeah. (: That's about it.

It's Alive!

I'm sorry it's been so long. I haven't really been knitting lately either. It's just been, not hectic, but, just a break. To get my schoolwork in check and everything, ya'know?

But! I have a dilemma. I don't know what to knit with this wonderful yarn:

I have found out that my picture taking skills suck. (: But anyways. It's Koigu KPPPM and I'm lost with it. I want to be able to show it off and I hate making socks, but I'm not too sure of the scarf I've started with it. It's not holding my attention with it enough. And I really don't like the way it's showing the colors. So any ideas would be very much appreciated. I've never worked with this yarn before either so... yeah. (:

I'm still trying to figure out what to do with some Lion Brand Homespun too. I was going to do a blanket but, I decided I didn't want to take on such a big challenge and I've got two skiens of it. But yeaaah...

And I really need to find my memory card for my camera. I know it's around here somewhere..
